Join us for a very social & educational experience at Grape Expectations School of Wine to make a barrel of Californian Bordeaux Blend Wine. This red wine blend is produced from a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec. When young, the taste of Bordeaux wine delivers licorice, chocolate, black cherry, plum, blackberry, spice, vanilla, smoke, floral, blueberry and jam flavors, characteristics and sensations.
This 9-month process is scheduled to begin October 12th, of 2019, at 1 PM with the grape crushing. (Starting date is subject to change due to the unpredictability of the harvest) The 3 remaining sessions are anticipated to be the press on Saturday, October 19th at 1 PM, Racking on Saturday, February 8th at 1 PM, & final session will be a bottling & labeling session on Saturday, May 2nd at 1 pm. You will ‘graduate’ the winemaking sessions with a greater knowledge of wine, new friends, and, of course, one case* of your California Bordeaux Wine. (12 bottles)!
*Additional cases may be available for purchase if additional inventory is available when you sign-up & check out.
